I have desktop ASUS P5E3 machine which succesfully suspends/resumes under Win7. Its MB supports S3 mode, APM and ACPI 2.0. It successfully suspends under recent FreeBSD-current (stops disks, turns off screen, blink S3 suspend-indicating light), but not comes up after it: black screen, keyboard is dead, no disk activity. Tried with both acpiconf and apm - effect is the same. Another difference is that under Win7 it comes up on pressing any keyboard key, but under FreeBSD-current have no keyboard reaction beeng suspended, only Power button does some small effect (turn on disks with initial disk activity) before becoming frozen. To whom personally should I address this issue to send verbose boot etc? -- http://ache.vniz.net/
