Check the bios again.  Some can defeat this check.  (I wish I could do 
this on my thinkpad.  The keyboard's never been the same since one of 
my babies kicked my beer while all three were on my lap . . . and my 
wife thought I was nuts hanging it over the sink so the keyboard could 
float [note: distilled water would have been better]
