I am getting a slightly similar error but on the other end, (READ)

May 11 13:01:34 taz kernel: ad0: FAILURE - READ_DMA
status=51<READY,DSC,ERROR> error=40<UNCORRECTABLE> LBA=4818191

Is this possibly a result of a bad hdd sector ?
