The following reply was made to PR conf/44050; it has been noted by GNATS. From: "Tony Harverson" <Tony@epages.net> To: <freebsd-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.org>, <vincomaldini@hotmail.com> Cc: Subject: Re: conf/44050: CVSUPIT package when installed from /stand/sysinstall appears to hang Date: Wed, 20 Nov 2002 08:46:38 +0200 This problem is still present in 4.7-Release, and is caused by the post-install script of cvsupit outputting to the debug screen on vty1(alt-f2). As it is unable to accept input on this screen, the process comes to a grinding halt. Killing the script from the emergency holographic shell on vty3 allows one to unhang the install, but aborts the install of cvsupit.
