Just a small sidenote: on FreeBSD 5.2.1 openpty() and posix_openpt()
still work like it should, but ptsname() (and thus grantpt()) are
broken. There is not much I can do here, because RELENG_5's ptsname()
assumes the master device uses certain major/minor device numbers. This
was already broken before the MPSAFE TTY import.
