I have also reinstalled the HeroesOfMightAndMagic's port. The main binary which starts the game is # file /usr/local/games/Heroes3/heroes3 /usr/local/games/Heroes3/heroes3: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (GNU/Linux), for GNU/Linux 2.0.0, statically linked, stripped. I thought maybe there is some linux library missing so I tried to ldd it %/usr/compat/linux/usr/bin/ldd /usr/local/games/Heroes3/heroes3 % When starting the /usr/local/games/Heroes3/heroes3. heroes3 process forks one more process which stays in a defunct stage. Maybe the maintainer of the port has to upgrade his port if thee is a newer version to the game? Or it is a bug in the linux emulation layer. If nobody is going to fix this it's a good idea to be marked in the (pkg-descr) that it doesn't work correctly on FreeBSD 7 with linux_base-f7. >How-To-Repeat: Install the HeroesOfMightAndMagic port, abd try using it :| >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
