Hello,

Frequently I have this problem:

---> Installing the new version via the port
===>  Installing for python27-2.7.14
===>   python27-2.7.14 depends on file: /usr/local/lib/libcrypto.so.9 - found
===>   python27-2.7.14 depends on shared library: libffi.so - found (/usr/local/lib/libffi.so)
===>   python27-2.7.14 depends on shared library: libreadline.so.7 - found (/usr/local/lib/libreadline.so.7)
===>   Registering installation for python27-2.7.14
pkg-static: Unable to access file /usr/ports/lang/python27/work/stage/usr/local/lib/python2.7/lib-dynload/nis.so:No such file or directory
*** Error code 74

make[2]: stopped in /usr/ports/lang/python27
*** Error code 1

make[1]: stopped in /usr/ports/lang/python27
*** Error code 1

The cause sits in /etc/src.conf:

WITHOUT_NIS= true

as -to me- such needless Microsoft feature is undesired on authoritative DNS servers.

I don't know if you have a solution, but at least you're now aware of the problem.
