keep in mind this is the output from the working non smp kernel.

machine works fine with generic kernel. When I reboot after compiling a new kernel with SMP support the root device fails to mount. At the "Waiting 15 seconds for scsi devices to settle" a few seconds will pass then I get simular output to this:

boot the machine with any kernel with SMP support.
I've built smp kernels with may different configs, last effort I only added smp support and left the rest generic. None of them will boot it seems.
