:that you have offended jdp in the process. I note that you have been :sending mail on the subject of your commit, but you didn't seem to :think it necessary to apologize to jdp. I am therefore suspending :your commit bit. I responded to jdp in private email, as was appropriate, when I saw his commit message. The fact that he made no effort at all to contact me in email prior to making his decision is a different story. I have not been abusive on the lists, or in my commit messages (which is more then I can say for JDP). If anything I've been overly cheerful in my commit messages (but I tend to get that way when I fix bugs). Core's action in this case is completely without merit, reactionary to the extreme, and is counter productive to the project, and I fully expect core to back out of this idiotic decision and give me my commit bit back ASAP. -Matt To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
