Hi, I've just run up -STABLE on a PIII box with an Adaptec AIC7896 (I think) SCSI setup and an 18G Quantum Atlas IV drive, but I see the following after booting: --- ahc0: <Adaptec aic7896/97 Ultra2 SCSI adapter> rev 0x00 int a irq 11 on pci0.12.0 ahc0: aic7896/97 Wide Channel A, SCSI Id=7, 16/255 SCBs ahc1: <Adaptec aic7896/97 Ultra2 SCSI adapter> rev 0x00 int a irq 11 on pci0.12.1 ahc1: aic7896/97 Wide Channel B, SCSI Id=7, 16/255 SCBs [...] npx0: INT 16 interface ahc0: Signaled a Target Abort <---- this sucker is concerning me! Apologies if this is a common problem, but I couldn't find it in the mail archives. Is this something to worry about? Also, I'm not on the list so private replies would be appreciated.
