I believe that the error is exactly as Mr. Bressler had guessed: I had messed up my /etc/aliases file. I am trying to get sendmail to nicely deliver my mail to me, cbooth, on my FreeBSD 2.2.2 box, which I want to call Penelope (that is, I want that to be my local hostname), but Penelope should not be part of my address--that should be cbooth@onyx.interactive.net, no Penelopes please. As John Cleese as Lancelot said: "Sorry; sorry...." -- ________________________________ Chris Booth cbooth@onyx.interactive.net
