Hi there,
I still have the problem that my PC only uses 16 MB of memory out of the 32
installed. I have a COMPAQ M model w/ EISA including an Adaptec 1740 SCSI
controller. After I checked that I got BOUNCE_BUFFERS in my Kernelfile I
switched the Adaptec from standard to enhanced mode (in the COMPAQ system
configuration). But still freeBSD only used 16 MB. Do I have to recompile
a kernel to that the Adaptec will be used in enhanced mode? The kernel was
compiled in standard mode. If so, what do I have to change?

Thanks for all the help I've got so far.

Regards, Ulf
