 I just tried again w/ BATCH & WITH_ONIGURUMA, now the ruby (1.8.3,
 Makefile v1.88) build stops in patch failure of re.c ...

   patch -d /work/ports/misc/ports-current/lang/ruby18/work/ruby-1.8.3 -p0 < ./re.c.181.patch
   Hmm...  Looks like a unified diff to me...
