Well, he searching goes on. Right before I left work somebody suggested that
Tor Egge's latest commit 
 
 http://docs.freebsd.org/cgi/getmsg.cgi?fetch=512483+0+current/cvs-all

might fix things, but unfortunately, it does not. I built a kernel with it and
still got the same lockups. Tomorrow I will do as others suggested and take out
MFS from my kernel config altogether as well as do more binary searches around
the 26th and 27th of June to narrow down what the heck is broken.
