That is : the drive can get up to 29.6 MB/s to/from the platters, and
can send it at a rate of up to 80MB/s over SCSI.

BTW : an UDMA66 drive with the latest ata driver of 4.0 can read at
>20MB/s (performance is no longer reserved to expensive drives)
