Make sure there are no spaces between names
ie this will work	   wheel:*:0:root,john,shawn,jkurtz,dan
john, etc won't work now   wheel:*:0:root, john, shawn, jkurtz, dan
Ran into this a while back...very bad parser ;).  I couldn't figure
out what was up so I looked @ another box and it didn't have spaces
so I removed them and it worked fine afterward.
