AFAIK that's not really an issue with ZFS, as it's basically software 
RAID anyway. As long as the speed of the onboard ports+drives and 
card+drives aren't drastically different, it should be ok. Just make 
sure you disable any 'fakeraid' features all around so there's no funny 
business.
