Yesterday I experienced this error on my server. I was able to ping other local machines on my network but not to my uplink. This server gateways for 6 other machines and virtula hosts 2 websites plus its own. When this error occurred I did a netstat -m and it said I had 120 buffers in use. (Damn I wish I had Saved that info before I rebooted. Hind SITE is 20/20 ;-)). For more specifics on the machine goto http:/www.oneinsane.net/about.html. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. TIA Ron -- -------------------------------------------------------- Ron Rosson ... and a UNIX user said ... The InSaNe One rm -rf * insane@oneinsane.net and all was null and void -------------------------------------------------------- It's so nice to be insane, nobody asks you to explain.
