It was suggested, and, just in case you don't recall, some people
felt very strongly against this change. :-)

I think the correct would be to add an elf section, and append this
section to the end of the kernel with the userconfig stuff. Ok, I
don't really think that (ie, I didn't think it through), I'm just
making a wild suggestion. :-)
