2 Simm sockets are on the card - you can use one or both.

There ARE chip-limits (no more than 36 ICs on a SIMM) and timing
requirements, along with a requirement that the SIMMs use true parity.

I've got 128MB on the one I'm using as a "test unit" right now.  

It SMOKES.
