This idea appeared about few years ago.  nik@ tried to do something, but
for some reason he abadoned it :-(  You may check -doc (iirc) archives
for details.

Actually, I think having of such list is good idea for usual people
who may be interested in conference, but missed announcement for some
reasons.  Also it's good place for announcing local BSD/OSDN/Linux Con's
there BSD BoFs are proposed to be present.

Events section has another purpose -- to place interesting reports
from *past* events.

I'd prefer to see new 'calendar' section on website dedicated for this
purpose.

You may want to look on linuxcalendar.com and gather some interesting ideas
:)
