I installed your power patches dated 20040101 on my Dell D-800. The boot fails in a curious way. It finds the ATA controller, but doesn't find either the disk or the CDROM in the machine. I did a -v boot, but I didn't see anything more significant. I don't know what you need to proceed on this one. Maybe setting everything to D3 is dangerous.
