Sorry, it should be:

   /usr/include/X11 -> /usr/X11R6/include/X11

and

  CONFIGURE_ENV=  GTK_CONFIG="${X11BASE}/bin/gtk12-config"\
                  CCFLAGS="-I${X11BASE}/include"\
                  LDFLAGS="-L${X11BASE}/lib"
