Hello! I administer several FreeBSD systems, and noticed some strange things with FDESC fs: * First box: FreeBSD 4.3-RC #0: Sun Apr 22 07:14:16 2001 # mount /dev/ad0a on / (ufs, local, noatime, soft-updates) procfs on /proc (procfs, local) kernfs on /kern (kernfs, local) fdesc on /fdesc (fdesc) Which is all okay. Now the 2nd box: FreeBSD 4.4-STABLE #1: Tue Dec 25 13:12:57 2001 # mount /dev/ad4a on / (ufs, local) /dev/ad4e on /var (ufs, local, noatime, soft-updates) /dev/ad4f on /tmp (ufs, local, noatime, soft-updates) /dev/ad4h on /home (ufs, local, noatime, soft-updates) /dev/ad4g on /usr (ufs, local, noatime, soft-updates) procfs on /proc (procfs, local) kernfs on /kern (kernfs, local) fdesc on (fdesc) Notice that on the second box mount didn't show where fdesc is mounted (really it is on /fdesc) - while everything is the same on those two boxes... Is fdesc somehow get broken after 4.3-RC? Thanks. ____________________________________________________________ Скоро Новый Год?
