It is correct to have the $FreeBSD$ line unchanged, as you already
have this line changed by previous check-out. Committing with the
change $FreeBSD$ line only adds unnecessary repo-bloat. Moreover,
AFAIK the CVSROOT code that contracts the changes in $FreeBSD$ for
commit logs hasn't yet been activated.

Also, consider the case when one will checkout this delta on a
non-$FreeBSD$ aware repository (which could be emulated by
``cvs co -kk''. If you don't change the $FreeBSD$, you will
see the version of previous revision. If you change it to
something else, here's what that will be committed to the
repository and be produced on the -kk check-out.

Is it so hard for you to get rid of these gratuitous deltas and
be done with this subthread? :-)

Thanks,
