This is an unofficial message crafted by myself, it in no way
represents any official Juniper position.

That said, I'm looking for some awesome talent to recommend for our
tools/build team.

Requirements:

- Strong C + shell + make + (perl|python|script language)
- Strong debugging skills. You should know how to debug a C program
  and complex makefiles and scripts.
- Strong Unix.
- A positive and progressive approach to solving problems, I want to
find someone that talks about how to solve a problem, not why you
  can't.

Helpful:

- We've worked together, either at a company, or on FreeBSD. (I'd like
to be able to give a personal reference.)

Job details:

- Working on large software builds, speeding up builds, tools, etc.
- Working on modularizing software.
- Working on our SCM tools, integration with revision control and
  bug tracking.

Team details:

- Awesome team, I do interviews for them sometimes and we collab often.
They are known for getting stuff done, highly respected position with
distinguished engineers on the same team.
- Great managers, they get stuff done.

Location:

- Sunnyvale CA, (reloc may be available depending on candidate
experience.)

My perspective on Juniper:

Juniper is an awesome company using FreeBSD for many products.

FreeBSD is tier one here, this is not "yet another FreeBSD job that
morphs into a $YouKnowWhichOS job", I see us using FreeBSD for a
long while. There is no "$YouKnowWhichOS movement" here as far as
I can see!

"Tired of defending FreeBSD weekly against the unwashed masses?
  Then drop me an email!"

The executives and managers have a very close working relationship
with the developers, people are listened to here.

Juniper has an ever increasing product line, we do innovative things
at the bleeding edge of networking technology.

There are several active FreeBSD developers working here and I would
love to bring more aboard.

Awesome benefits, stock, compensation, cafeteria. Juniper is close
to transportation and offers public transportation subsidy.

Please contact me directly so I can make sure you get on the right
incoming track!

thank you,
