Subject: How easy is the in-memory MFS kernel stuff to use, 'ala the boot , floppy?

I'm trying to figure out a way to make a "disaster-mode" kernel, that if
the kernel can load, but not fsck, it can mount an in-memory FS, possibly
start the network, and maybe fire up an sshd, or something so I can get in
and do stuff remotely.

Any ideas?
