Please provide the command(s) you've been using to perform
the installation, and also show the errors. Without those
informations, hardly anyone can help due to a lack of a
magic crystal ball. ;-)

You could provide the section you've been refering to in
combination with the "command and error" combination mentioned
above.

It should basically be easy, but without diagnostic material,
it's nearly impossible to say what went wrong in your case.
