Hi I know that that FreeBSD 4.2 RELEASE supports the Promise Ultra-100 as I found it in the HARDWARE.TXT file in the root of the dist but do you know whether the tx-2 version of this card will work with FreeBSD 4.2 at a guess I'd say it should do as the only difference between the 2 cards are one works with the 33Mhz PCI bus and the other just supports the 66Mhz PCI bus which is the one I'm thinking of getting.
