For the Rush folks, could you please try the various shared libs (one of the test program from the glide kits is sufficient) and tell me which works? Well, I can probably hack the filename lookup routines in the Linux emulator (they do the /compat/<sysname> stuff anyway) to return the right kind of shared lib depending on PCI bus information. Now that would make a real advantage over Linux ;-) I thought these 3dfx folks are are supposed to be great, but how come they cand't even make one library that runs on all their cards? Given that the Glide API is especially announced as an interface that maps directly and only directly to hardware features. Grummel...
