Unfortunately, I no. i just said what it said. and then fsck did it's job. if you yse background fsck, make sure it checked partitions other than / well. if fsck can't check / on automatic mode it would drop to single user. it's not linux, if hardware is not broken filesystem will be in good state after such case. do you have UPS there? use it's cable and apcupsd from ports to make automatic shutdowns after power failures.
