I just swapped out my old TNT card for a TNT2, and the X client <obviously> doesn't write video properly. I'm not too sure what version of X I have, but it corresponds to the 2.2.8 install I believe. I'm pretty sure I'll need to update my X11 binaries, but I just wanted to know what my options were. Is the X update pretty painless? And once I have updated the binaries, how will I reconfig the server to use the TNT2 chipset, or will I automatically run through the X config? it might also help if I can see a structure of files that determine how X behaves - window managers, resolutions, etc.. I'm not subscribed to the list, so I would appreciate an email to shocker@ionet.net in response. Thanks in advance, 1/2 mensch To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
