Unfortunately, I don't have an answer, but I have the exact same problem (different only as my kernel configuration is) with all the xpt and cam references undefined. I updated my sources with CTM (current up to yesterday, src-3.0020.gz). Not even GENERIC would 'make install' (though _that_ would 'make'). Trying to 'make install' GENERIC references me to http://www.freebsd.org/~peter/elfday.html, which in turn references me to http://www.freebsd.org/~rnordier/boot.txt. I'm hesitant to mess with any of the /boot stuff since my machine triple boots with 2 other MS OS's, which tend to be less lenient about booting than FreeBSD.
