Probably. If your TK/TCL are old, you'll have problems.

Delete your old port, and make sure you have a freshly compiled tcl-7.6/
tk-4.2 or tcl-8.0/tk/8.0 from a freshly updated ports collection. There 
were lots of problems with older ones.
