I ran in to this myself last night. I corrected it by taking the following steps. I use portupgrade so I won't give specific commands: Make sure your ports tree is up-to-date. Force-uninstall graphics/OpenEXR. Force-reinstall graphics/ilmbase. Re-install (manually if necessary) graphics/OpenEXR. Fix up dependencies. Continue with other upgrades. JN
