Hello,

I am making a meta-port that has options to choose which components to
install.

Each component also has its own options, but when they are built as
dependencies, they do not prompt for their own options (neither use the
defaults), but they inherite the options from the meta-port.

Is this supposed to work like this?

How can I make dependencies prompt for their own options?

I found some ports use a script for the configuration (in
"scripts/config", and create a "Makefile.inc"). Does it have adventages
over the OPTIONS variable?

Thanks and Best Regards,
Ale
