forgot to mention that the path transmitted by DHCP and "<client ip addr>.s=
wap"
are concatenated. So the full path of the swapfile is

  /exports/swap/<client ip addr>.swap

(or "/exports/swap/swap.<client ip addr>"; I can't tell until I have
 access to that machine again.)
