Hola,

I have a machine with 16GB RAM and not heavily used.
I see from `top` some things that I do not understand well.
Why would a system use swap when memory is idle?

Output of top shown below:

last pid: 2272; load averages: 0.07, 0.19, 0.17

                                                            up 26+12:09:26
10:49:04
155 processes: 1 running, 154 sleeping
CPU: 0.1% user, 0.0% nice, 0.0% system, 0.0% interrupt, 99.9% idle
Mem: 799M Active, 6262M Inact, 4964M Laundry, 2465M Wired, 1492M Buf, 1564M
Free
Swap: 3598M Total, 3530M Used, 67M Free, 98% Inuse
