Well, when using dd, be careful: some drives (IDE) won't allow you go
without a trouble if you dd if=/dev/wd0 of=/dev/wd1, since this will
overwrite some essential data disk uses for operation (this is known to
be true for Seagate Medalist series).  Instead, you should dd each slice
independently, not the entire device.
