Dear FreeBSD users...

What's the best way to "upgrade" an application installed from the ports
collection? I was imagining something like rpm -Uvh to upgrade RPM
packages...

Is de-installing the application first then install the newer version
the efficient way to upgrade apps installed from the ports?
Are there any other way to achieve the same thing?

TIA

Regards,
John Indra
