I have for some time using a Orinoco card as a "base station" at home. For those familiar with the wi driver, you know that it does not operate in AP mode with FreeBSD, but rather Ad Hoc. I believe progress is being made, but not done yet. I now have a need to set up a couple of systems as AP's, and I'm thinking I should pick a card with better functionality. What's the recomendation on the best supported card to make a FreeBSD AP? -- Leo Bicknell - bicknell@ufp.org - CCIE 3440 PGP keys at http://www.ufp.org/~bicknell/ Read TMBG List - tmbg-list-request@tmbg.org, www.tmbg.org To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hackers" in the body of the message
