Hello,

I have a similar problem with the application kabc of KDE3. On start it
does a lot (thousands) of gettimeofday(3) calls. And my laptop is ntp
synced, always, any 10 minutes or so, with ntps1-0.cs.tu-berlin.de.

Can you explain a bit your hint? Thanks in advance
