Last time I tried this (a year or more ago) this wasn't possible.
Wondering if it is yet...

given an NFS host whose world is built with CPUTYPE=i686, build an
alternate obj MAKEOBJDIRPREFIX=/usr/obj-486 with CPUTYPE=i486 and have
that subsequent obj installed via NFS onto a poor-old 486?
