True, but a lot of non-committers (like Stijn and myself) are interested in 
when the code freeze happens. It may be of no practical importance to us, but 
it would be nice if some one would send a note to stable@, as has happened 
many times before. I don't think developers@ is a public list (it's not 
mirrored by Google nor mentioned with the public lists in the FreeBSD 
Handbook).
