I wouldn't think there is a model rc.conf file.
I believe most systems are diffrent and depending upon
the system etc would determine the setup of the rc.conf file.

You may want to cp your rc.conf file to rc.conf.bakup and 
look at it.  If your system is running it's optimal :-)
