 I guess it's probably ok to remove it.  Keeping out of date docs
 around is sometimes worse that not having documentation at all
 about specific topics, because it makes a bad impression about
 the rest of the docs too.
 
 If the rest of the -doc guys also think this article has served
 us well, but is no longer useful and may even be misleading, then
 please go ahead and remove it.
