System: FreeBSD mannu.hack.ee 4.4-PRERELEASE FreeBSD 4.4-STABLE #12: Thu Aug 9 07:25:30 EET 2001 root@mannu.hack.ee:/usr/src/sys/compile/MANNU i386

>Description:
Built new kernel on Intergraph TD-3, 4.4-PRERELEASE, The system has adaptec aic-777x SCSI adapter and one HD, one CD on SCSI bus. The system has worked flawlessly under 4.0, 4.1, 4.2-STABLE. Now kernel hangs _before_ writing waiting scsi devices to settle. I first thought it hangs on parallel port, then removed parallel port from conf and it hanged on serial port so in fact it hangs when probing SCSI controller. I tried to remove EISA bus from kernel conf as suggested by list members, but it did not help.
