nn                /usr/local/lib/news
nn-current        /usr/local/lib/news
nntpbtr           /usr/local/news/lib
slurp             /usr/local/news/lib
suck              /usr/local/news/lib
tin               /usr/local/lib/news
trn               /usr/local/lib/news

I don't remember any agreement on this Subj.
Moreover, top level /usr/local directories must be created
by BSD.local.dist, I mean news and maybe news/{lib,bin}
