Hi Clinton, Probably you are using DES encrypt. Try change your /etc/auth.conf and /etc/login.conf to Blowfish(blf) like this: In auth.conf: crypt_default = blf In login.conf: :passwd_format=blf:\ After, run cap_mkdb /etc/login.conf Now it will work correctly.
