 Sorry, but I am unable to reproduce the problem in any way, and as you can
 see in [1], the FreeBSD ports building cluster can build cal3d without
 problems, too, so I guess it's a local problem with you. Did you cvsup
 your ports tree recently, and are the installed packages (especially
 automake, autoconf and libtool) on your computer up to date?
